In the UK, 16% of greenhouse gas emissions come from electricity generation. We need to reduce this to zero.

You can make the difference by buying power from companies like Ecotricity, Good Energy, and Octopus who generate most of their power from 100% renewable (non-polluting) sources. Some of these companies can also help you install home batteries, rooftop solar panels and energy-saving heat pumps too.

Businesses can do the same, or can use Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) to invest directly in (and buy) renewable energy. This can offer cost certainty against market volatility and prevailing inflation.
